Privacy Policy
Effective: May 18, 2026
Last updated: June 22, 2026
This policy explains what information Gressio collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Gressio is built by Longway AI. If you have questions, write to contact@gressio.ai.
1. Who we are
1.1What Gressio is
Gressio is a Windows desktop application that turns your meeting talks into real work.
1.2Scope of this policy
Gressio is developed by Longway AI. This policy applies to the Gressio desktop application, the website at gressio.ai, and any related services we operate.
2. Information we collect
2.1Google sign-in
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this only to create and identify your Gressio account.
2.2Desktop app
When you use the Gressio desktop app, the app processes your meeting audio, the transcripts generated from that audio, the files you ask Gressio to read or edit, and the session data Gressio produces (to-do lists, summaries, audit trails). Most of this data stays on your computer — see Where your data lives below.
2.3Website
When you visit the website, we receive your email address and standard web server logs (IP, browser, page viewed, timestamp).
3. Where your data lives
3.1On your device
Your meeting transcripts, file edits, session data, and pre-edit backups are stored locally in %APPDATA%/Gressio/. They do not leave your machine unless we transmit them to a service provider for the specific purpose described below, or unless you export them yourself.
3.2At service providers
Meeting audio is sent to a cloud automatic speech recognition (ASR) provider — currently ElevenLabs — for transcription. The agent that proposes file edits may call a cloud large-language-model provider depending on the model you have configured in app settings. Account email addresses are stored at our authentication and email infrastructure providers.
3.3Which countries your data is held in
The Gressio backend runs in Google Cloud's asia-southeast1 region, in Singapore. Meeting audio that is uploaded for cloud transcription, and the transcript stored alongside it, are held in Google Cloud Storage in the United States. If you use Gressio from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or anywhere outside those two countries, this means your meeting audio and transcripts are transferred to and stored in the United States, and your account data is processed in Singapore.
3.4How long we keep it
Meeting audio uploaded for cloud transcription, and the transcript kept alongside it, are deleted automatically 30 days after upload. Our storage provider then keeps a recoverable copy for up to a further 7 days, so the honest worst case is about 37 days from upload to full removal. Account records — your email address, sign-in identity, and billing and usage history — are kept for as long as your account exists, and after that for as long as we need them for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
4. How we use information
4.1What we do
To provide and operate Gressio. To improve the product in aggregate. To communicate with you about your account, releases, security, and support. To meet legal obligations.
4.2What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use the contents of your meetings to train AI models.
6. Your choices
6.1Close your account
Ask us to close your Gressio account by emailing contact@gressio.ai. We deactivate the account so it can no longer be used to sign in or use the service. We want to be straight with you about what that does and does not do: your account record is retained rather than erased, because we do not currently have an on-demand erasure process, and we would rather say so than promise something we cannot carry out. Cloud-stored meeting audio and transcripts are deleted on the schedule described in How long we keep it, whether or not you close your account. If you have a right to erasure under the law that applies to you, write to contact@gressio.ai and we will work through it with you.
6.2Delete on-device data
Delete on-device data by removing the %APPDATA%/Gressio/ folder.
6.3Switch providers
Switch the ASR or language-model provider in app settings.
6.4Unsubscribe from email
Unsubscribe from non-transactional email using the link in any such email.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and rely on the security controls of the providers we use for storage. No system is perfectly secure; report security concerns to contact@gressio.ai.
8. Children and international users
8.1Children
Gressio is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
8.2International users
By using Gressio you understand that your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by service providers based outside your home jurisdiction. See Which countries your data is held in for the specific locations.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be at this URL with a new effective date. Where required, we will notify you by email or in-app.
